This award is named after
America On Stage's founder - Bryan Steele!
Kick Off - Regional -
State - National Champions
In America On Stage, there are 4 types of competitions:
1.Kick Off Classic Competitions
2. Regional Competitions
3. State Championships
4. National Championships
Each event gets tougher and harder to win as the year progresses, dancers become more finely tuned, and competition becomes more fierce.
The Overall Individual Award at each event is Clogging's
Overall Freestyle Award and Dance's Overall Soloist.
These awards are offered in the Clogging Pro and Dance Advanced Level.
Each requires a dance off to determine the winner. It's Awesome!
The LEGACY AWARD goes to the dancers who have won the Overall Award at EACH OF THE 4 COMPETITIONS.

- Basic Rules and Guidelines -
A Dancer wins an Overall at a competition by winning the Overall Freestyle or
Solo Award
This includes a Jr or Sr level if offered. This includes both Male/Female or
combined if offered.
At most competitions, a Jr and Sr may be offered and if so, both count toward
the Legacy Award.
At events where there is no distinction between Jr and Sr, the Overall Award is
the qualifying award for the Legacy Award.
All those who win the Overall Award at EACH of the FOUR Qualifying competitions
are awarded as a LEGACY AWARD MEMBER!
Winners are awarded at Nationals each year.
