Rules and Regulations
At competitions designated as State Championships, the top level will compete for Overall Awards and titles called State Championships.
State Championship titles are awarded in Team, Duets, Trios, and Individuals.

Rules
To compete for a State Championship Title, the team must
- have 90% of its members from the state the competition is
held in.
- compete at the top level of the competition
Will we be required to Dance
Off?
Dance Offs will be determined by each competition. Generally, Freestyle is
danced off, Duets are danced off, and Teams are scored from High Points in each
category.
How will the State Championships
be awarded?
The top 3 teams in each Category will be awarded, with the top team being the
State Champion.
What if we are from another
state?
If a team competes in a State Championship that is NOT from that state, they
will be awarded their place in Overall standings and the highest team from that
state will be awarded the State Championship.
